We look for something that will last, that will stand the test of time. How often do you hear these words thrown around to capitalize on that human need for permanence. This was built to last, you're just a caretaker for this. We seek it out in everywhere we look, we seek it in the products we buy from cars to homes. We seek it in relationships and even love. We seek to find those things that will stand the test of time. The truth so far as I can tell is different. All things will eventually break, fall into disrepair, rust and turn to dust. Instead we should seek only to understand, that is something that will last, something that will endure.
